What a useful report includes
A useful report explains the vehicle identity, the auction grade, mileage recorded at auction, condition remarks, source confidence, and clear limitations. Where available it also includes the auction sheet image or record and translated inspector comments, so the sheet is usable even if you do not read Japanese.
Translation and condition context
Japanese notes, abbreviations, and inspector comments are explained in plain language, and the interior grade is read alongside the overall grade. This context helps you judge whether a car matches its advertised condition, instead of relying on a single grade number.
What may not be available
Some fields can be missing or partial. Older vehicles, limited source coverage, or an unclear original record can all reduce what a report can show. When data is thin, Manual Search (€50) is often the better next step. A report reflects recorded auction data — it is not a mechanical inspection and cannot guarantee current condition.
